The Aztec-style embellishments of the main library of the National Autonomous University of Mexico are well worth a look; as is the Southern, traditional suburb of Xochimilco, where the practice of constructing Chinampas, artificial islands made to grow crop, can still be structured; the place is by now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
