LAPP & FAO is on the discovery tour of genuine high-quality culinary pleasures and delights. The brand stands for top-quality tea rose tips, imperial coffees and poetically fine chocolate made from cream and continental caramel. Its selection of fine products is created by hand according
to traditional recipe, and produced exclusively in small gourmet establishments. Lapp & Fao is fundamentally averse to the addition of any artificial coloring, flavoring, or preservatives. Moreover, only the best biologically dynamic raw foods are processed whenever possible.

Experience based on good old tradition: the extraordinary culinary adventure of Lapp & Fao is not only reflected in ist starkly poetic sense of design. Lapp & Fao’s simple packaging and presentation is sharp and clear. The brainchild behind the polished corporate identity is none other than Hamburg designer Peter Schmidt (Apollinaris, Jil Sander, Hugo boss).

T E A
More than seventy rare black, green and Oolong teas. Handpicked,
conventionally treated. Specialities like “Monkey on
the Moon”, tea roses, flavorsome Sencha and Bancha, flowery
blends. Naturally aromatic Honey- and Rooibush, Lapacho
and Chai, birch smoke – and mountain tea with it.


C O F F E E
Compositions of the most precious Arabica, rare specials for
connoisseurs. Ethiopian highland plants and row coffee from
selected cultivation countries as the basis for individual blends.
Manually roasted. Mild as the “Golden Sunset Lodge”, strong
like the “Huren & Matrosen” blend. A true “Hawaii Kona” and
the majestic “Jamaica Blue Mountain” stand for themselves.


H O T / CH O C O L AT E
Divine: hot chocolate – bars of chocolate. Porcelana Criollo
beans, slightly oil separated. Hot with Chili, Wasabi, Matcha
– hand ladled bit by bit as half bitter, bitter and full cream
milk. Proportion of cocoa of up to 70 %.


J A M S & J E L L I E S
Full fruits, little sugar, stirred with love: jellies and marmalades
à la “German Apfelstrudel”, “Don Padre´s Lemon Sour”,
“Green Tomatoes”. Like in former times. Somewhat saucier.


H O N E Y
Coming exclusively from our smallest employees at Lapp &
Fao. Sun honey from our own bee colony. Treated gently,
rich. Not only “Grizzley´s Gold Pots.”
