APOLLINARIS

3 things on Apollinaris you need to know:
The Queen of Table Waters: In 1897, a very special honour is bestowed upon the Apollinaris Company Ltd., when Queen Victoria and her son Edward, the Prince of Wales, designate Apollinaris a purveyor to the British Royal Family. The well known Apollinaris claim - The Queen of Table Waters was born.
Characteristic and awarded taste: The original Apollinaris spring in Bad Neuenahr has provided our products with naturally fine sparkling mineral water since 1852. Natural mineral water is obtained from deep spring water. It is formed in a process that takes decades, as rainwater flows and is filtered through various layers of stone, gravel and sand. The water finally collects at a depth of about 200 meters, where it is largely protected from environmental influences. Natural spring carbonation gives Apollinaris its fine sparkle. It is created by volcanic processes deep within the earth’s interior. As volcanic magma cools it releases carbonation, which bonds with the spring water and has the special ability to extract greater amounts of mineral nutrients from the layers of stone. This is what makes natural Apollinaris mineral water so rich in minerals. The result is a unique refreshing, crystal-clear water of brilliant purity and characteristic taste that delights all of the senses. The premium water Apollinaris Selection received the top rating of three stars at the Superior Taste Award 2009 and in 2010 which highlights its status as an outstanding product.
Characteristic awarded design: In 1997, Apollinaris introduces the stylish selection bottle, a unique bottle for upscale restaurants. Created by designer Peter Schmidt, the selection bottle is a timeless classic and now over a decade an icon of style and quality.
