Internship Travel Trade Marketing & RFP Programs

IN A NUTSHELL

The internship gives an insight in the Design Hotels™ travel trade community (B2B) and the management of global corporate RFP (request for proposal) agreements. You will be part of the Commercial Operations division and a valuable addition to the Travel Trade Marketing & RFP Team, acting as the connecting piece between our member hotels and the travel trade community.

  • Opening: July / August 2024
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Compensation: EUR 520 / month
  • The internship must be a compulsory part of the study program

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES


Travel Trade Marketing 

  • Assisting in the planning, copywriting, and execution of travel trade marketing activities, including newsletters and digital ads targeting travel professionals
  • Working with various platforms including the project management tool Asana, Umbraco CMS platform and Emarsys CRM platform
  • Email marketing campaigns: coordinating production with creative and content department, uploading content, implementing tracking codes
  • Content Management: Uploading website content and coordinating content production (visuals & copy for website pages)
  • Creating and delivering landing pages, deals pages, and other related CMS tasks
  • Supporting with daily tasks, liaising with other departments, keeping track of deliverables
  • Preparing Keynote presentations for webinars, key consortia partners and reporting of trade marketing activities
  • Working on special trade marketing projects & initiatives

 

RFP Programs 

  • Supporting RFP Team with the global RFP Process & workflow (launch of RFP, submission management, hotel support etc.)
  • Performing data entry processes and maintaining records in various platforms (Cvent, Ticketing System, Tableau, etc.)
  • Participating in weekly business travel calls
  • Preparing production figures and creating reports for the global sales team
  • Working on special consortia and corporate projects

 

EXPERIENCE & MINDSET

  • Team player with excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Strong analytical and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Keynote preferred
